David’s career in the City started in 1961 with Martins Bank and Bank of Montreal where he spent 9 years working in and running a number of departments – primarily ledgers, clearing and dividends. In 1970 he joined the Kirkland and Whittaker Group broking foreign exchange and currency deposits and was made a Director in 1979.

In 1990 he became a financial adviser with Lincoln Assurance, achieving both Branch Manager and Top Producer status before leaving to take up the role of Specialist Financial Services Adviser with the Prudential. Years with Allied Dunbar and Zurich Financial Services followed and David became a valued member of the Cavendish Brooke team in 2004.

David specialises in ‘At Retirement’ planning and as such most of his clients are those looking to maximise their pension income options.  He is also very experienced at assisting the bereaved in making sense of their financial affairs.

In his own time, David can most likely be found on a golf course!  He and his wife are very proud of their two daughters and are doting grandparents to their four grandchildren.
